Art Contest, Furniture, Carolyn

There was an art contest at Cessna on Saturday. Of the pieces I entered these two got honorable mention.

An Acrylic painting 20x24 in.

A Sculpture 4x5 in.

We also got some new furniture.

Carolyn has begun to push herself up on her hands and knees.

The Latest And Greatest

Last weekend was (Jared's Dad) Mark's 50th birthday. Jared's sister and brother both came to celebrate. (I'm putting up a video of Mark on a pogo stick on his birthday)

Jared is still waiting for his comfirmation from Cessna Employee's Club so that he can begin flying. We finally bought some new furniture and will have a tv stand and lazy boy on Wednesday. Dieneke will be entering some artwork in a contest this next weekend, and a week from tomorrow Jared's friend Chris will be spending a night here.

Now about Carolyn........She had her 6month checkups and shots this last Thursday. She is 17 lb. 26.5 in. She still has no teeth, and does not like solid food. She is starting to push herself up on her knees, and crawling will come soon. And now for the pictures!

Mother's day

Sunday morning I woke up to breakfast in bed. Thank you Jared!

The Botanica Gardens were free today to celebrate Mother's day so after church we went with Jared's family to the Golden Corral for lunch and then took a long walk through the gardens. I took over 100 pictures, here are my favorites.

Swimming

Jared took Carolyn swimming again today and this time I remembered the camara.

She loves her vibrating bug attached to her car seat.

Summer's here

Yesterday Carolyn went swimming for the first time. She really enjoyed it. Look at how nice and chunky our sweet little girl is getting. We also took a trip to the park and some some cute ducks.
