Pretty Big News

Here's what's new. After much discussion and prayer, and considering how late Jared started flying, and that he has a family (which slows down training) we have decided not to pursue aviation, but to resume training with New Tribes Mission in another field of work. We would like to go into the second phase of training next fall, God willing.

Some smaller items of note: Carolyn is now 18 lb. 11 oz, 27.25 inch. and now has at least 3 of her top teeth.

She's now pulling herself up onto her feet about once or twice a day. She's still very unsteady, but it's a start.

Quilt

I've been amazed at how quickly it has come together. My sewing machine decided to be grumpy last night and I'll have to clean my machine and resew the last two stitches, but otherwise it's all put together. I plan to quilt some neat designs in it so it will still be a little while before it's completely finished.

More Updates and Pics

The 24th was our 2nd anniversary, and Jared surprised me by shaving off his beard. I've been working the past couple days on making a new quilt for our bed. Carolyn has been learning how to crawl faster, and reach objects that are higher up. She's not pulling herself up to a standing position yet, but it's not that long till she figures it out.
