End of Summer

Our summer traveling is at an end and we are back in Missouri preparing for class to begin on Monday the 17th. We've been busy with settling in and helping other students settle in too. We've been enjoying our time together as a family.

We were privileged to be in Wichita to welcome Jared's Dad home from a six-month deployment in Kuwait.


We all enjoyed a day at a waterpark near Wichita.
Especially Dad, who was still adjusting to the eight hour time change

We also spent a day at the zoo.




We celebrated our 4th anniversary while in Wichita.




We celebrated Dieneke's 24th Birthday early at Jared's parents' house.

Independence Day

On Independence Day, we had a picnic by the lake at the MTC.

We're now in Wichita for three weeks, and our church hosted a block party today. We enjoyed an inflatable obstacle course, snow cones, cotton candy, and Dieneke practically took over the face-painting booth.

Visiting friends and family

We have been to Indiana, Michigan, and Ontario, Canada. We still have another 5 or 6 days left of our trip. Please pray for us as we travel. Our air conditioner in our car gave out a couple days ago, so it will be hot traveling. We're praying for cool weather.

Traveling

I thought I'd post some pictures of us so you can see that we're doing well. The children are really being great and seem to enjoy meeting all the new people.
