Jared had the fun job of massaging Dieneke's lower back during (and sometimes between) every contraction, so we didn't get any sleep after we left for the hospital at 1:30am.
About four hours and one epidural later, it was decided to deliver the baby by C-section due to a small problem with the baby's heart rate.
After the surgery, Dieneke finally got to hold her little girl (but because of the drugs, she couldn't see her very well).
Carolyn is such a lazy baby, she just sleeps and sleeps and sleeps.
Once again, Carolyn's sleeping again. Such a little angel!
From the very beginning, Carolyn's eyes were wide open (when she wasn't sleeping). She has gorgeous dark blue eyes.
