Review of the Holiday Season
We spent a nice white Christmas with Jared's family. Carolyn enjoyed the wrapping paper and dog more than her presents, but that's how it works when you're only 1.
After Christmas we spent almost a week in Iowa with Dieneke's Grandparents, Parents, siblings, and more. Here's Carolyn, with her Aunt Delorah, Uncle Robbie, and Uncle Derrick.
Here's with almost all of Dieneke's immediate family.
We've been amazed at how much Carolyn has blossomed these past couple weeks. She's developed a new love for hugging stuffed animals. She's learned how to stack blocks and cups. She also got her first molar (tooth #9).
She's feeding herself cheerios, and drinking from a sippy all by herself.
She also got her first hair cut! Here's Daddy holding her afterward, you can still see the little tears in her eyes.

Recovering from Thanksgiving
I think we can finally say that we are back to normal. After a long trip to Texas over Thanksgiving break our house and our schedule are back to where they should be. Jared has begun flying again, and Dieneke is enjoying feeling herself again and is back to crafts and house cleaning. Carolyn can now walk up to 5 steps in a row. Here's some more pictures of mostly Carolyn for you to enjoy.
